The Little Grey’s experience is one you can’t forget! My husband and I like to camp and fish and ride bikes. Little Grey’s is a great base camp for all of that! We fished on the Little Grey’s river, biked into a beautiful lake, and each night we came back to a beautiful and comfortable camp! The sky in the forest is unbeatable and the relationships that can be fostered from disconnecting from our busy schedules are priceless! Tre and Olivia Heiner, the owners of the camp, are incredible people that want to create a five star experience for everyone! Jan and Ross are the most gracious hosts. If ever you need anything, they’re right there to help make your stay unforgettable! I loved my stay at the Little Grey’s camp. We will definitely be going back time and again, next time to give our growing family awesome outdoor experiences!
The wood decking and canvas tents for sleeping as well as a cook tent to prepare food AND eat in will allow you to stay dry if it’s raining or cool(er) if it’s hot! Access to hiking trails easy enough for smaller kids and challenging enough for the experienced hiker will lead you to breathtaking views only found in God’s Country: Wyoming! Our family has been to this camp several times with our large family for reunions. We enjoyed the scenic drive up through Star Valley and on into the camp. The campsite is nestled in the forest with a small shallow stream running through it. The stream provided endless hours of entertainment for the younger set of grandkids. The hills all around camp have hiking trails for multiple levels of hikers. The horse ride up the mountain was so fun and the views spectacular!! We hiked( some rode horses) into Bailey Lake and had a fun time at the lake! The kids entertained us with plunges into the lake from a rope swing.
The evenings around the large fire pit was the perfect setting for storytelling and just enjoying the peace and quiet this camp provides. I’d recommend this camp experience to anyone looking for a remote, peaceful retreat .
